At Valley Speech Pathology, we solve the staffing headaches that keep Special Education Directors up at night. We understand that hard-to-staff districts, whether in the remote mountains or the rural plains, are often the first to experience shortages and the last to get help.
We founded our practice in the Mountain West to solve this exact problem. Drawing on our leadership's deep roots in the Midwest, we provide reliable, high-quality teletherapy to schools across both regions.

Meet Dakota Hubert, M.S., CCC-SLP
Owner
Dakota is a licensed speech-language pathologist and the founder of Valley Speech Pathology. A proud Southern Illinois University (SIU) alum, Dakota began her career in the Midwest (working across Illinois, Missouri, and Indiana) before establishing her practice in the Mountain West.
Dakota started Valley Speech to create something different: an SLP-led company focused on real relationships, great therapy, and doing meaningful work with purpose. She believes in staying connected and making sure both schools and therapists feel truly supported.
When she's not behind the screen providing teletherapy, you can find Dakota outside. She enjoys camping in the Montana wilderness, snowboarding in the winter, hiking the local trails, or tending to her ever-growing garden. She loves building a business that allows her to live fully while helping others do the same.
Meet Matt Hubert, PE, MBA
Director of Operations
Matt is the Director of Operations at Valley Speech Pathology, where he helps keep the business organized, efficient, and moving forward. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering from Southern Illinois University Carbondale and his MBA from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville.
Matt is a military veteran and has also worked for Fortune 500 energy companies, building a strong background in leadership, operations, and practical problem-solving. He brings a steady, strategic, and solutions-focused approach to the business side of Valley Speech, helping solve challenges, improve systems, and support the company as it continues to grow.
When he’s not working behind the scenes, you can usually find Matt outside. He enjoys fly fishing, mountain trail running, backpacking, and reading. He loves the Montana lifestyle and the opportunity to help build a business that supports meaningful work, strong relationships, and a life well lived.
Meet Cassidy Potter, M.S., CCC-SLP
Lead Speech-Language Pathologist
Cassidy is the Lead Speech-Language Pathologist at Valley Speech Pathology. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Communication Science and Disorders from Florida State University and her master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Florida Atlantic University.
Cassidy has been a speech-language pathologist for five years and brings experience across adult care, pediatrics, the NICU, and school-based settings. She has a special interest in apraxia of speech, mentoring other therapists, and creating efficient systems that help therapists feel supported and prevent burnout.
Originally from South Florida, Cassidy moved to the Flathead Valley in 2021 and quickly found a home in Montana.
When she’s not supporting students, schools, and therapists, you can usually find her outside with her husband and their dog, Bear. She enjoys hiking, hunting, fishing, and spending time in any body of water she can find.
